Details on additional content editing features of the Sodyo Content Management System (CMS)
The Main Content Window & Content Operations
The CMS main content window contains all the content items in your project and allows performing the various content operations. To see the main content window, navigate to https://cms.sodyo.com and sign in. Click the content module in the navigation menu. The main content window is displayed.
Each content item has a set of allowed operations associated with it (shown in blue in the figure above
Content Operations
To perform an operation on a content item, find the item in the content grid, click the ... icon and choose the desired action.

Editing Content
Step 1: Navigate to https://cms.sodyo.com and sign in. Click the content module in the navigation menu. The content module is displayed.
Step 3: Edit your content item as required, see creating content for details on editing content.
Deleting content
Step 1: Navigate to https://cms.sodyo.com and sign in. Click the content module in the navigation menu. The content module is displayed.
Step 2: Click the delete button for the content item you would like to delete. The delete confirmation dialog is displayed.
Step 3: Click yes to delete or cancel to discard.
Previewing content
Step 1: Navigate to https://cms.sodyo.com and sign in. Click the content module in the navigation menu. The content module is displayed.
Step 2: Click the preview button for the content item. The content item is opened for display in a new browser window.
The Sodyo Ad will be shown in preview mode with highlighted action areas. Clicking on the ad shows it as a user would see it. If an action area is clicked, a pop-up dialog with the action type and parameters is displayed.
Step 3: Close the new browser window when done.
Copying content
A content item may be copied for reuse purposes.
Step 1: Navigate to https://cms.sodyo.com and sign in. Click the content module in the navigation menu. The content module is displayed.
Step 2: Click the copy button for the content item. A copy of the content item will be opened for editing.
Editing of the copy does not affect the original content item.
Step 3: make the necessary changes to the content item.
Step 4: Click save to save the new content item or cancel to discard.
Sharing content
Sharing a content item allows you to easily forward a content item to collaborate with your co-workers before publishing.
Step 1: Navigate to https://cms.sodyo.com and sign in. Click the content module in the navigation menu. The content module is displayed.
Step 2: Click the share button for the content item. The sharing options dialog is displayed.
There are 3 content sharing options.
Facebook
Email
LinkedIn
Step 3: Click the icon for your preferred sharing option.
Step 4: As an example, click the email button to share over email. The email share dialog is displayed.
Step 5: Enter the email address for the recipient. Click share to complete the operation or close to discard.
The recipient does not have to be a user of the Sodyo CMS.
Step 6: The recipient receives an email that allows previewing the content item as show below.
Previewing a Sodyo Ad in Edit Mode
When editing a Sodyo Ad, it is possible to preview the ad. This allows the editor to get a feel for how the user will see the ad. To preview a Sodyo ad:
Step 1: Navigate to your ad in the Sodyo editor.
Step 2: Click the preview button. The Sodyo Ad will be shown in preview mode. Clicking on the ad shows it as a user would see it. If an action area is clicked, a pop-up dialog with the action type and parameters is displayed.
Step 3: To return to editing mode, click the Editor button.
